Serbia started off to an early lead and the first quarter was a tight game. Team USA held on and then took over. USA is 5 - 0 and ended pool play. Thursday is a "no game" day with a practice and down time. We start cross-over play Friday where it is necessary to win each game to proceed to the gold medal game.

Coach Showalter's favorite spot - the fiba box which is meant for the players to sit on while they are waiting to check into the game. He is allowed to be up and often walks the bench line. In international rules one coach is allowed to be up. Coach Show loves that rule!!
