Canal Boat trip for me

Dot, Pauline and I took off as usual via the bus and train. We miss Melissa, Macy and Jenna as they started their journey home today to New Orleans. Dot and Pauline were happy to shop, but I wanted one more tourist opportunity and had been wanting to do a boat trip on the lake and through some of the canals. It was a great trip - HOT, HOT, HOT as has been the norm since we've been here.









We cruised through the city park where many people were swimming, lounging, and boating. Our hotel is across the highway from this huge park.

Mansions around a small lake. The tour guide told us they don't even know how much the houses are worth because they are never sold, only passed on through the family.
